Biafra, not enough reason to kill people – BSN

The Bible Society of Nigeria has warned that the agitation for Biafra is not enough reason for innocent people to be killed.The General Secretary of the BSN, Mr. Dare Ajiboye, said this in

a press conference ahead of the BSN’s 50th anniversary, expected to hold by February 2016 in Lagos.He however expressed optimism that the agitation would not worsen the challenging situation faced in Nigeria.He wondered why the agitators took to the streets, advising that there were legal ways through which they could get their demands.It is very important to quickly get to know why they are asking for Biafra State and when the government gets to know, let them have a meeting and find a way of solving the problem rather than just taking decisions either militarily or which other ways to solve the problem. To those agitating for Biafra, there are legal ways through which they can go to get whatever they want because shedding innocent blood is not the best thing to be done,” he said.
